A record group, the basic unit of Cultural Programs archival control, is a body of organizationally related records designated by a number and the Frequently Asked name of the federal agency, bureau, or activity that created or received them. Records Availability SERVICES FOR Offsite Storage Federal Agencies Educators and Students The Mid Atlantic Regional Archives has moved a number of certain, infrequently used records to offsite storage to preserve the records in space with better archival environmental controls OTHER RESOURCES and reduce rental expenses. Since records will not be immediately accessible, please contact Online Research Tools us in advace and allow at least 2 working days for us to retrieve these records. Relevant and Aids entries in the Archival Research Catalogue (ARC) are being updated to reflect access Order Copies changes, Hire a Researcher View the list of records that have been moved offsite. Military & Civilian Personnel Records Elevator Maintenance Due to elevator renovations in our historic building, we strongly request that you make an Go to the Locations appointment if you want to use original records. We may not be able to pull records for Nationwide Main researchers without an appointment. Our elevator is expected to be back in service by July. The Mid-Atlantic Region is the repository for federal documents considered permanently valuable. Federal agencies Search Shortcuts and U.S. Courts in the states of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia have created the records that we hold. My Photos My Attachments We do have the records you describe: Records of the National Park Service (RG 79), Region 5 Office, Philadelphia Entry 400: "Historic Shrines, Sites, Monuments, and Parks, 1938-1952." I have examined the records and found the following: In Box 3, Folder 120: "Legislation" (approx. 66 pages) In Box 6, Folder 620. This folder is subdivided into the following sections: [new folder 7] Buildings, 1950-1952 (33 pp.) [new folder 8] Dane Farm, 1949-1950 (19 pp.) [new folder 9] Human House, 1944, 1948 (25 pp.) [new folder 10] Old Farm, 1946-1950 (approx. 150 pp.; includes b/w photos) I was unable to locate Folder 121 in Box 3 or in the other boxes. The materials have been processed within the past year and it is possible that Folder 121 may now be identified under another name. We are forwarding a copy of the updated inventory (attached) for you to look over. Please let us know if you recognize the material you were seeking in Folder 121. Our charge for producing photocopies for customers is $.75/page.
