Letter to Mike's parents letting them know: all is well, got the message they sent with Rev. Coffin, which letters he has got in the mail from them, asks them restrict mail to only immediate family because of issues getting mail processed, treatment is good, food is plenty, time outside and exercise, guards are kind, chess game is improving, letter from boys, book he is reading.

Letter is hand printed on rice paper in black ink, envelope is a plain white envelope addressed in blue ink, postmark April 13, 1980.
There is a two inch coffee stain on the left side of the letter one inch up from the bottom.
