Ray Smith has regularly included Mike in his pragyers from the pulpit of the Community Church, and I took the liberty, in the absence of the Ambassador, to pay tribute to Mike and express our most earnest hope for his early and safe release in speeches on the occasions of the Marine Anniversary and at the annual Thanksgiving luncheon of the American community.
