Dear Sir: Some ten years ago I was deeded as trustee for my three sisters and myself a parcel of land or parcels of land one of which is located on the west side of the mountain range, I should say directly east of Seal Cove ponad or Lilley lake nearly the tope of the mountain. I understood that Lafayette National Park has been formed or founded by the Government and I am wondering if our land had been taken in or what has been done. Can you send me the map or description of the park or in any way enlighten me on this subject? We are still paying taxes on this land. I also own 25 acres myself near the lake or near the outlet of Hodgedon Pond which empties into Seal Cove pond which is known as 'Pin Hill' lots near the center P.O. distirct. I would like to know if either of these pieces are in or near the National Park as now is. This is all taken from the estate of the late Wm. Ober, Center.
