I acknowledge your letters of October 13th announcing my
appointment upon two committees of the Trustees of Public Reservations
I shall be pleased to serve upon those committees.

Dear Mr. Dorr:
Mr. Luquer notifies me that I have been appointed chairman of
a committee of the Trustees of Public Reservations for the purpose of
presenting to the next annual meeting a proposed amendment to the
charter whereby net income of the corporation may be used for the
purposes of the corporation without infringing upon its charter
privileges. He notifies me that Mr. Stebbins and yourself are the
other members of the
committee. As chairman I take the liberty of
appointing a meeting of the committee to be held at ray office at
Bar Harbor one hour before the annual meeting of the corporation to
be held in 1910. We may be able to get together informally before
but lest we do not, I have deemed it wise to appoint a meeting of the
committee at the time and place above stated.

annual meeting of the corporation to be held in 1910. We may be
able to get together informally before, but lest we do not, I have
deemed it wise to appoint a meeting of the committee at the time and
place above stated.
