Dec 24 Dear Mum and Pop A pile of Xmas cards has just been brought in, and a chance To say hello. Life is not easy where I am, but I Those very special few remain optimistic, I am sleeping well at night, get about 20 minutes of fresh air a week, but can do some calisthenics on my own. The food isn't bad, and, thank God, we the being given plenty of books. (I just waded through " Theiri [sic] was the Kingdom", to by RF Delderfield, which at least had the merit of being long) Last summer in Maine was just wonderful. I hope to enjoy a great many more.
