Letter: Correspondence from Annie Marie Young (A.M.Y) to Minnie Spurling {July 24, 1903}
This is a letter from Annie Marie Young to Miss Minnie Spurling. It was sent from Seal Harbor on July 24, 1903. It was contributed by Susan Krasnow.
The letter details the work and drama between staff at a Seal Harbor hotel where Annie is assistant to a woman she refers to as Mrs. Saunders. The letter is told from Annie's point of view. It goes over daily tasks and relationships between employees. She works from 5:00am to 7:30pm (A 14.5 hour day) and makes $5.00-$5.50 per week.

There are small holes along the folds. The letter is torn. All text is clearly legible.
