2/27/80 Dear Louisa- l have hesitated to write you over these long days and weeks because I know you have so wany letters. I didn't feel I knew you well enough to intrude on your anxiety. However, now that it seems as if release once again is deferred l want to tell you that you, your boys, your families and of course Mike and the other hostages are in our daily prayers. Dodie tells us you went to France (?) to (unknown word) handily in a debate with an Iranian woman. It doesn't surprise we. Our son-in-law, Leigh Hoagland, a V-P of Bankers Trust, met with your Mike in Teheran just a few days before the take-over. He thinks very highly of him.
