Chance and Change Published in Honor of Bill Drury, COA Celebrates 20th anniversary.

In the year of COA’s 20th anniversary, Chance and Change is published in honor of Bill Drury. Drury taught at COA from 1976 until his death in 1992, helping to establish the Masters in Philosophy program and touching the lives of countless students. Chance and Change: Ecology for Conservationists was written by Drury and edited by John Anderson. The book provides a view of ecology and conservation informed by the tenants of human ecology. Its publication honored Drurys career and contributions to College of the Atlantic, as well as the fields of human ecology and conservation in general.
