Town of Clinton, MA. Located 6 mi NE of Worcester; Worcester County (US-T121). It was settled in 1654 and incorporated as a town in 1850. Named in honor of DeWitt Clinton (1769-1828), Governor of NY and builder of the Erie Canal (MA-T1/p14).
