The State Board of Education authorized COA to offer an advanced degree, a Master of Philosophy 2-year program

The Maine State Board of Educated granted COA authorization to launch its graduate studies program in 1990. This program offers graduate students the opportunity to earn a Masters of Philosophy in Human Ecology over two years of study at the college. This program contains a mix of coursework and thesis work, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary and project based learning.
