The Phoenix Fund campaign began the effort to rebuild Kaelber Hall
COA starts The Phoenix Fund, a campaign to raise money for rebuilding Kaelber Hall. The campaign released several newsletters, updating the community on the project’s progress and planning. Instead of replacing the hall with one large building, it was decided that a complex of buildings would stand in the former hall’s place (currently Arts and Sciences Building, Thorndike Library, Gates Auditorium and TAB). To dive deeper, take a look at the Phoenix Fund newsletters or some early photos of Arts and Sciences construction, linked in the ‘Related Items.’
