Collection consists of three boxes of archival files donated by the Seal Harbor Library pertaining to the history of Seal Harbor village and Acadia National Park. An itemized summary of each boxes' contents is enclosed in each box. Essay taken from the Johns Hopkins Magazine titled One Summer in Seal Harbor by Stephen May. Page 52.58. Essay covers a brief history of both artist Thomas Eakins and Hopkins physicist Henry Rowland. The essay also covers the two men's freindship and their time in Seal Harbor.
