1991-92 Priorities In addition to ongoing Voter Education and Election Reform, the League of Women Voters will act on issues relating to the following agenda: Energy support adoption of a non-polluting energy policy with increased conserva- tion and expand use of alternative technologies as energy sources. Environmental Protection & Waste Management support action to promote wise use and prevent degradation of land, water and air resources in Maine; and to support policies to reduce the genera- tion and to promote reuse and recycling of solid and hazardous waste, and environmentally responsible disposal of the remainder. Reproductive Choice protect the Constitutional right of privacy of the individual to make reproductive choices.
