H NE Hundred Years ago the Congregational Religious Society of Mount Desert was or- ganized in Somesville, "believing that our present and future welfare will be promoted by the con- tinuation of the Gospel among us" Services commemorating this event will be held in the Union Meeting House of Somesville on Sunday, July 21st, nineteen hundred and forty, with Reverend Arthur C. McGiffert preach- ing the Anniversary Sermon at the ten forty-five o'clock service, when the new organ will be dedicated, and with Reverend Horace H.Leavitt delivering the Historical Address at a special afternoon service at three thirty o'clock. 4 You and your friends are cordially invited to attend these services of thanksgiving and re- dedication.
