The Dice Head Lighthouse is located at the entrance to Castine Harbor and the Penobscot River, owned by the town of Castine. Though deactivated in 1937, the original lighthouse was reactivated in 2008 after its replacement skeletal tower was destroyed by a storm. The lighthouse is not open to the public, but visitors can enjoy views from the surrounding grounds and shoreline path
