EVERETT E. FERNALD ISLESFORD, April 22 - Everett E. Fernald, 84, died at a Bangor hospital today after a long ill- ness. He was born at Islesford, De-- cember 29, 1873, son of Samuel and Phoebe (Stanley) Fernald. He was a retired lobster fisher- man. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sadie (Block) Fernald; one daughter, Mrs. Hildegarde Ham: two sons, Malcolm and Winfred. a sister, Mrs. Nellie Spurling; a brother, Arthur Fernald; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; all of Islesford; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Islesford Congregational Church by the Rev. Neal D. Bous- field of the Maine Seacoast Mis- sion. Burial will be at the Islesford cemetery. Bearers will be Andrew Stanley, Jr., Lewis Fernald, Hillis Bryant and Sanford Coison.
