MRS. ELIZABETH SHORE
NORTHEAST FARBOR, Dec.
19 - Mrs. Elizabeth Hodgkins
Shore died in Florida last Sat-
urday,
Mrs. Shore resided here for
many years and had employment
at the Harborside Inn two sum-
mers ago.
NEVA VIOLA FERNALD
SOUTHWEST HARBOR, Dec.
13-Neva Viola Fernald, 78, widow
of Fred Fernald, died Monday at
a Bar Harbor hospital.
She was born at Southwest
Harbor October 11, 1877, daughter
of Robert and Abbie E. Robinson
Gott. She was a member of
Jephtha Chapter, OES, of South-
west Harbor and St. John's Epis-
copal Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Rosamond Apte, Colraine, Mass.;
a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Gray of
West Palm Beach, Fla.; two
brothers, Mortimer of Salisbury
Cove, Clyde of Jonesboro; sev-
eral nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at
St. John's Episcopal Church
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock
with the Rev. Robins Thatcher
officiating.
Bearers will be Donald Berry,
Fred Berry, Elwell Trundy and
Harold Townsend.
Interment will be in Mt. Height
Cemetery, Southwest Harbor.
Friends may call at the Fernald
Funeral Home in Somesville any
time Tuesday.
