Morning View of Bluehill Village
Print, of oil painting by Jonathan Fisher "Morning View of Bluehill Village, September 1824" (original in collection of the Farnsworth Museum) 16 1/2 x 34 inches., in frame (20 1/2 x 38 inches.) - made by Eliot Sweet. The framed print hung for several years in the exhibition room at the Fisher House with the entire white border of the print showing. In early 1978 Eliot Sweet cut down the frame he had made earlier of moulding similar to the size of the actual picture, and it was then covered by non-glare glass.
