This collection contains the books that we know belonged to Jonathan Fisher, or that are of the period and could have been in his own library (such as titles or authors mentioned in his journals and letters). Many of these books were hand-bound by Fisher himself, using scraps of paper for endpages and leather or catskin from his farm animals for covers.
