A certain lot or parcel of land located on
Baker's Island, in said Cranberry Isles, and bound-
ed and described as follows:
Beginning at an iron bolt in the high point
of a ledge on the southerly side of said Island
and running due south and passing through another
iron bolt in a rock on the shore about one hundred
and ninety (190) feet from the starting point three
hundred (300) feet to mean high water mark the nce
following the same course to the sea; thence at
right angles and following the sea and running due
east two hundred and ninety four (294) feet; thence
at right angles and running due north to mean high
water mark; thence following the same course and
passing through an iron bolt in a rock on the shore
about one hundred and five five (105) feet from high
water mark three hundred (300) feet to an iron bolt

in the ledge; thence at right angles and running
due west two hundred and ninety four (294) feet
to the point of beginning, and containing two acres,
more or less. Together with the enjoyment without

lot or hindrance of the right to land on the north-
erly side of said island at the landing used for
boats and landing and a right of way from said
landing to said parcel of land following the right
of way to the lighthouse as far as a point just
west of the land appropriated for school purposes;
thence in a southerly direction along the school
land and past the northwest corner of the land
owned by the United States and following along
said last named land to its southwesterly corner
and thence in as nearly a straight line as possible
to said parcel of land. Said parcel of land is a
part of the same land conveyed to said Grantors by
the coheirs of Joseph W. & Elisha B. Gilley by deeds
from Harriet Taylor et als. and Catherine Gilley et
als. recorded in the Hancock Registry of Deeds Book
463, Page 149 & Book 463, Page 322, respectively to
which reference may be had.
Reference may also
be had to the deed of Elisha B. Gilley to Samuel B.
462-437

Gilley one of the said Grantors, recorded in
the Hancock Registry of Deeds in Book 187, Page
424.
NOTE: Grantors are recited as being
unmarried.
