KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the Inhabitants of the
Town of Bar Harbor, a municipal corporation in Hancock County, State of
Maine, in consideration of one dollar and other valuable considerations,
paid by Henry Lane Eno, of said Town of Bar Harbor, the receipt whereof
it does hereby acknowledge, does hereby remise, release, bargain, sell
and convey, and forever quitclaim unto the said Henry Lane Eno, his
heirs and assigns forever, all its right, title and interest in and to
the following described real estate, situated in said Town of Bar Harbor,
to wit:
All and the same premises described as conveyed by kri I.
Bunkor to Everard H. Greely et als by warranty deed, dated October 23,
1885, and recorded October 24, 1885, in the Registry of Deeds for
Hancock County, Maine, in Book 203, Page 104, to which deed and the
record thereof reference may be had.
But excepting from said tract the following, conveyed by
Arthur H. Parcher to the said Inhabitants of the Town of Bar Harbor:
Beginning on the east side of the county road leading from Bar Harbor
to the east side of Otter Greek at the northwest corner of a lot of
land conveyed by Eri I. Bunker to Alexander Robertoff, by deed dated
January 13, 1885, and recorded in the Registry of Deeds for said County
of Hancock, in Book 197, Page 311; thence southeasterly on said Robert-
off north line three hundred ninety-six foot, more or less, to the
northeast cornor of said Robertoff Lot; thence northerly and at all
times parallel to said county road five hundred feet: thence northwest-
erly, but parallel with said Robortoff north line to the county road;
thence by said county road to place of beginning, and containing approx-
imately 200,000 square feet.
Meaning and intending to include and convey all and the same
property described as conveyed in 8 certain tax deedfrom Charles F.
Paine, Collector of Taxes for the Town of Bar Harbor, (formerly Town of
Eden), to the Inhabitants of said Town, dated February 23, 1909, and
recorded in said Registry of Deeds, in Vol. 483, Page 18.
Express reference is made to said above described deeds and
the records thereof for the descriptions contained therein and all
particulars with the same force and effect as if said descriptions and
said particulars were set forth fully and at large herein.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, together with all the privi-
leges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to him, the said Henry
Lane Eno, and his heirs and assigns forever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said Inhabitants of the Town of Bar
Harbor, by its Municipal Officers, thereunto duly authorized by vote
of said Town, at a legal meeting held in March 1920, has caused this
instrument to be duly executed in behalf of said town this eleventh
day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
twenty.
