I purchased this land about five or six years ago when I immediately took possession. The property at that time was fenced and I continued to keep the fences in repair up to the present time. I cut all wood remaining on the lot and did some farming there. I leased it to Norris Higgins one year who farmed on it. I pastured cattle and kept hogs there. My occupation as above was open, notorious, exclusive and continuous. I never heard my title questioned nor the title of my predecessor. I recollect seeing my predecessor cutting wood off the ilot and clearing and plowing it. I remember that he dammed the stream and hauled ice from it.
