Dear Dr. Epp,
Thank you for your inquiry. We regret that due to staffing and time
constraints in addition to the volume of requests we receive, we are
unable to conduct extensive research for patrons. If you are interested,
we would be happy to refer you to private researchers who could assist you
with your research on a fee basis.
I did, however, take quick look through the Edward P. Moses Papers
(#2065). I did see documents referring to the Great Smokey Mountains
National Park and the Southern Appalachian Park Commission. I did not see
anything pertaining to Maine. Most of the other letters between 1930-1936
were from family members or dealt with different libraries in Florida.
Thank you again for your inquiry. Please let me know if I can help you
further.
Sincerely,
Anne Skilton
Research Assistant
