Whittier - Your letter is at hand and I thank you for replying so promptly. I am always glad of your letter and W you will be glad to know that this time we shall print over 8000 copies of the paper so that it will have a very wide reading. There are not many who know what a large work we are doing and how hard I have had to work that it might be done but I have had much to encourage me and I want to thank you for your appreciation of the work that I have tried to do. Nothing has been more cheering to me than the appreciation of the workers in the field. I have been into the "barrel" looking for that MS. and I am glad to say that I have found the most of the original MS. I did not use all that he sent SO I have not that part but I have the part with his signature and I guess that is the partthat you want and I hope that it will serve you.
