Burlock's Pocket Edition of The Holy Bible containing the old and new testaments, translated out of the Original Tongues... Philadelphia S.D. Burlock & Co.. J. Fagan and Son, electrotypers, Philad'a (no year). Inscribed: "Presented to B. H. Spurling by his friend Fannie A. Preble, Cranberry Isles, July 3d, 1870". Small, red leather cover with flap. Inside are two dried, pressed pansy-type flowers, one spindly leaf, and one purple ad card: "Good for 12 Card Photographs only, by paying the balance, 75 cts., made at L.W. Cook's studio - (Boston etc. stamped on reverse) and a pencil signature. Unknown donor
