Livermore Falls, Sept. 13 - Miss
Irene Kitchen of Palermo will teach
the Campground School. She will
board with Miss Kathleen Weed at
the parsonage.
Mrs. Henry Osgood of Claremont,
N. H., is the guest of relatives in
town remaining for the next two
weeks.
Mrs. Ada Stearns is the guest of
friends at Lebanon, N. H., and will
remain through September.
Word has been received of the
death of Mrs. M. C. Ward, wife of
the Rev. Merrill C. Ward, who was a
former pastor of the First Universalist
Church here. Mrs. Ward died at her
home in Abbington, Mass., following
a long illness. Her husband and four
children survive, Mrs. W. W. Ben-
jamin of West Braintree, Mass.;
Harmon and Richard Ward of Mid-
dleboro, and Melvin Ward of Abbing-
ton.

sisters, Miss Louise Marr of Boston
and Mrs. Andrew McSorley of South-
ington, Conn., were maid of honor
and matron of honor. Her bridesmaids
were college classmates, Miss Alice
Willard of Wethersfield, Conn., and
Mrs. Helen Thurrotte of Wallingford,
Conn. The best man was Andrew
McSorley of Southington, Conn. They
will live in Wethersfield, Conn. Mr.
Saxby is art instructor at Rocky Hill,
Conn.
Joseph LaBrecque is a patient at
the Lahey Clinic in Boston.
Mrs. Cora Pearl will entertain the
Kings Daughters Tuesday, when plans
will be completed for the County
Convention, to which this organiza-
tion will be host the last of the
month.
