Card is to Clara and Evelyn of Westringe NH: Nov 5, 1925, "My dear little girls at 10:45 here I am waiting for train to Bodfish due here at 11:40 am, I get to see Robs at 12:45 a real summer morning here, was on the train all night, will right letter soon, up on CPR where a lot of freight trains go along. Love papa." Phil Whitney recalls his travel on train (Canadian Pacific Railroad); back 1964-65 there was a little train called the Scoot at Brownville Junction (last steam engines in Maine), Phil rode it and has photos of it.
