Photo postcards of Hamor House with note; Postcard 2 & 3: Hamor House dock postcard blank on back. Postcard 1: Brownville Junction, Maine, Main street. Card is to Clara and Evelyn of Westringe NH: Nov 5, 1925, "My dear little girls at 10:45 here I am waiting for train to Bodfish due here at 11:40 am, I get to see Robs at 12:45 a real summer morning here, was on the train all night, will right letter soon, up on CPR where a lot of freight trains go along. Love papa." Phil Whitney recalls his travel on train (Canadian Pacific Railroad); back 1964-65 there was a little train called the Scoot at Brownville Junction (last steam engines in Maine), Phil rode it and has photos of it. A short, mixed train carrying passengers and freight. Archive Hamor House postcards. Gave Phil postcard about railroad. Postcards were in an envelope from Clara Cleaves Seymour, Clara's aunt and uncle owned Hamor Tea House; note says Clara waited tables two summers at Hamor Tea House - note written for Clara by Cynthia Hamilton Sept 30, 2010. Phil: Sadie Hamor must have been a Cleaves.
