More Than Meets the Eye: Uncovering Patterns with Drones

GIS software and drone imagery are used to analyze habitat classification and vegetation health using ArcGIS Pro tools such as NDVI, VARI, habitat classification, GPS field points, and deep learning object detection. The project compares vegetation patterns between the College of the Atlantic main campus and the Cox Protectorate, highlighting differences in land use, development, and seasonal imagery.
