Item A: Letter to hostage families from Penne Laingen relating some events which have happened since the formation of FLAG., work of Covington and Burling, answers to Department of State questions in the next bulletin. 
Item B: FLAG Bulletin- Mission of FLAG, failure of Untied Nations trip to Iran, letter fro Penne Laingen to Secretary General of United Nations, response from Kurt Waldheim, notes on the Family Meeting in Washington, D.C., Questions concerning FLAG, Message to Families from Hal Saunders (State Department), questions submitted by hostage families to the Undersecretary of State for Administration, section on what hostage family members and organizations are doing to support the hostages, prayer for the hostages, a form to fill out to give information to FLAG (this form has been filled in by Louisa and a personal not to Penne is written across the top) 
Item C: Is the same as item B
Item D: Plain FLAG stationary envelope used to mail the newsletter, Louisa Kennedy has written #1- April 11, '80 above the return address. 
Item E: FLAG stationary envelope used to mail the newsletter with an address sticker to Mrs. Moorhead Kennedy on the front.

Item A: is a two page, typed, single spaces, single sided letter on FLAG Bulletin stationary, it is a photocopy.
Item B: is a 12 page professionally printed newsletter on FLAG stationary, the pages are glued on the left edge to form a booklet. Louisa Kennedy has detached the 12 page and filled in the form which also is annotated with a personal note to Penne. "#1" is written in the upper right-hand corner of the newsletter. 
Item C: is a 12 page professionally printed newsletter on FLAG stationary, the pages are glued on the left edge to form a booklet.
Item D: Plain FLAG stationary envelope used to mail the newsletter, Louisa Kennedy has written #1- April 11, '80 above the return address. 
Item E: FLAG stationary envelope used to mail the newsletter with an address sticker to Mrs. Moorhead Kennedy on the front.  
 
The two envelopes show signs of discoloration.
