march Dear Mum and Pop It seems that we are to have clergymen here to celebrate Easter, with the additional bonus of mail to be distributed at home. I look forward to both. They have started to show us videotapes of U.S. TV shows, which is certainly a welcome change. My reaction to TV is exactly what it was at home, which suggests that I am reasonably normal in every other way, A real effort is being made to provide some kind of amusement for us, and that is all to the good. My wall with all its photographs is how a real thing of beauty. V's sketch of Sandy an Skis excites considerable comment, as do the color photography you rent me of Northeast The view of Robinson, as seen Through the Simond's hedge, makes me very homesick indeed. The bulk of the collection, of course, is Louisa's photographs at Christmas, plus the Life page spread. I must say that I had no idea that Philip could take such good pictures. Keep your fingers crossed. I'm optimistic. M.
