Krasnow, Susan "Soos" Marie (Valdina)

Soos was a businesswoman, proprieter, and longtime resident of Little Cranberry Island. She owned and operated the Islesford Market, a general store on the Cranberry Isles that sold groceries, supplies, food, and even displayed work from local artists. Soos worked with Ashley Bryan, a world renowned artist, writer, and storyteller. She travelled with him and assisted him through many of his events and appearances.

Soos was originally from Needham, Massachussets, and would eventually move in with her grandparents to the Maypole cottage on Islesford. After a diagnosis of terminal pancreatic cancer, she went on a 8,000 mile tour across America, which she called her 'goodbye tour.'

She was married to Steven Krasnow. Her children are daughter Jessica Krasnow-Garcia and her son Iann S. Krasnow.
