W. Ralph Emerson design for James Hinch. Summer residence, destroyed by fire 1947. The Mount Desert Herald suggests the plans were by A.A. Martin, the builder, but Albert Levy’s photographs connect this design with W.R. Emerson. Contractors were A.A. Martin and George A. Barron.
