The infant is propped on a seat with a blanket covering the seat. Photographers logo is embossed on the front of the card: H.L. Schulz, New Paltz, NY. Handwritten on the back of the card: "From Churchill Cobb with a Merry Christmas to all the little Fernalds and big ones too. Taken on his 3rd birthday."
