Somes Sound
Black and white photograph Somes Sound as seen from Sargent Drive. Flying Mountain seen on the far side of Somes Sound. Notation on back reads: Somes Sound is a true fjord. Also editor notations. Amendment: Somes sound was downgraded by scientist from a fjord to a fjard. The sound lack both a dead zone at the bottom and steep 1,000+ foot cliffs.
