Madam Sherwood
Young woman in short sleeve dress with flounces down length of skirt. Velvet bodice with bows on shoulders. Beaded choker at neck. Hat with decorative white border and tassel on one side. Marked on bottom, "Madam Sherwood, Giant Lady, Height 5 feet 8 inches. 7 feet around waist, and 24 inches around arm. Age 31 years. Weight 675 pounds." Marked on back, "Charles D. Fredericks and Co, “Specialite,” 587 Broadway, New York."
