Carriers at Southwest Harbor Sardine Factory
Paul Stubing said this was a photograph depicting a row of carriers at Southwest Harbor: "King Fisher" and "Joyce Marie". The caption on the back reads,"Herring boats, Southwest Harbor, Maine". There are two carriers tied up next to the packing plant. The hoses used to pump the fish up went on the upper level of the wharf, where the fish traveled to the factory.
