Paul Stubing indicated that this is a photograph of Bobby Rich's boatyard about 1941. There are three boats directly in front of the boat shop. To the left of the picture is the stern of another boat. There is an small island visible behind the boat shop. The caption on the back reads, " May 1941...Boat Shop...Bass hbr.".
