Edith Hamilton; An Intimate Portrait
This book describes Edith Hamilton's life and her work with Greek and Roman mythology and history. She summered in Seal Harbor for several years and loved Mount Desert Island so much that she bought a summer house in Seawall in 1917 where she spent a great deal of time, including the winter of 1926.

The book itslef is in readable condition while the bookjacket is torn and missing a great deal of paper. The jacket was removed and repaired as much as possible.
