My dear Mr. Rockefeller: You asked me in regard to the address of the men who drilled my well at round hill, thinking that your brother Mr. Percy Rockefeller, might decide it was advisable to have a well drilled. I do not think there is any question about the advis- ibility of having the Artesian Well & Supply Co. I enclose you copy of a letter they sent me, which they received from Mr. Stokes, after drilling his well. I do not wish to interest myself in the affairs of others, but you spoke to me about this, and I think that I can very conscientiously recommend these people as the best I have ever had to do business with, and I have interviewed and looked into records and facilities of many other so-called well diggers, but these are the only practical men, with a good plant, and experienced men, that I found. Their work for me was quite satisfactory, the men they sent on the job were intelligent, decent law abiding men, and I found a great deal of pleasure in doing business with them, from the principals to the employes.
