There are some metal flowers at Dumbarton Oaks that have been removed from one of the gates. Enough for two bouquets I think. They look to me suitable for use on these finials. If these gate finials are to be used whether or not the rest of the wall is lowered shall I do a full sixe (sic) drawing to be mounted on beaver board for Mrs. Bliss to see?"
