Wooden pieces strung between two narrow strips of wood . two on each side. Cord wrapped down the length with narrow strips of reed inserted every 1/16th of an inch. Twine coming loose at each end. Used in the woolen mill in Somesville for weaving. Three wooden reeds under same object number.
