The Beth and the 1947 Fire
Account by Jane Thompson Sumner of "The Beth," which she says was once the Islesboro ferry and which was on the water at the time of the 1947 fire. Donor (Sturgis Haskins) says it was not the Islesbor ferry, but rather a private yacht that was used to pick.up and deliver guests from Lincolnville to Islesboro.
