Downeast Race Week Division III First Place Trophy
The trophy awarded to the winner of the Downeast Race Week Division III. This trophy consists of a wooden base with a barograph on top. Winners' names are engraved on metal plaque screwed into the wooden base. Plaques on the base read: Down East Race Week Division III First Place Donated by Mike Chace in honor of his father, a great sailor and author who loved the sea. Smaller plaques contain the names of the winners 2018 Auriga Lawson Family 2019 Batty Hirsch Family 2020 Eagle Courteney Jenkins 2022 “Eleanor” St. Denis Family A plaque on top of the barograph has an affixed enamel burgee of the Pequot Yacht Club. Engraving on this plaque reads: Arthur Chace Commodore 1980-1981 from the Governors and Flag Officers
