Sunset Hotel and Restaurant Transfer of Goods to Mark Perlinsky Legal Notice, November 22, 1938
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That Sunset Hotel and Restaurant,
Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Maine, and
having its principal place of business at Bar Harbor, Hancock County,
State of Maine, in consideration of one dollar and other valuable con-
siderations, paid by Mark Perlinsky, of said Bar Harbor, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby Grant, Sell, Transfer and De-
liver, unto the said Mark Perlinsky, the following goods and chattels,
namely:
All of the furniture, furnishings and fixtures on the second and
third floors of the Sunset Hotel and Restaurant, Inc., building, for-
merly the Perlinsky Block, situated on the west side of Main Street, in
the village of Bar Harbor, Town of Bar Harbor, County and State afore-
said, according to the inventory hereunto attached, which is expressly
made a part of this instrument, together with the linoleum on the first
floor of said building, also including all bathroom and plumbing fix-
tures on said second and third floors of said building.
The said Sunset Hotel and Restaurant, Inc., for the same consid-
eration, hereby agrees to fix the walls of the first floor of said
building, where the mirrors have been removed, and behind the settees.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular the said goods and chattels
to the said Mark Perlinsky, his executors, administrators and assigns,
to their own use and behoof forever.
AND the Sunset Hotel and Restaurant, Inc., hereby COVENANTS with
the said Mark Perlinsky that it is the lawful owner of the said goods
and chattels; that they are free from all incumbrances; that it has good
right to sell the same as aforesaid; and that it will WARRANT AND DEFEND
the same unto him, the said Mark Perlinsky, his heirs, executors, admin-
istrators or assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said Sunset Hotel and Restaurant, Inc.,
has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal and signed
in its corporate name by Angela C. Kaufman, its President, thereunto duly
authorized, this twenty-second day of November in the year of our Lord
