MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT made and entered into this day of July A.D. 1935, by and between Angela Kaufman, now commorant of Bar Harbor, Hancock County, Maine, hereinafter known as party of the first part; M. Perlinsky, of Bar Harbor aforesaid, hereinafter known as party of the second part; and Thomas Mourkas of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, hereinafter known as party of the third part. WITNESSETH, That, WHEREAS on the 14th day of November , 1934, the parties of the first and third part leased certain property in Bar Harbor known as the Perlinsky Block and the land it sets on from the party of the second part; and WHEREAS by mutual agreement, adjustment and consent the affairs between the parties of the first and third part have been terminated and the business relations, including all partnership or interests in the Sunset Restaurant Inc., have been terminated and adjusted and the party of the third part is no longer interested in the lease on the Perlinsky Block so- called; NOW THEN, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the party of the first part agrees to accept and assume all responsibility and liability under said lease hereby releasing therefrom the party of the third part.
