A few days ago, I talked with Les by telephone to see if they would prefer more definite and exact bounds and description of the locality which we proposed to cover. He said he thought that such a general coverage as I have included, would be suf- ficient. I noticed that he did inquire as to whe- ther we had the consent of interested property owners and I assured him that we had and were com- municating with them. I looked in our records to see which member of the McAvoy family held title to their lot and was rather surprised to find that they had never recorded their deed. If the application meets with your approval, please sign it, keep the copy and return the original to me as soon as possible. I will then date it and send it down to Les. Percy Clarke has been and still is very sick and I have not been able to see him. You will notice that we are asking for a license to construct and maintain a twine weir or trap supported by corks or floats. I did not think it advisable to go into further detail regarding ropes and anchors, since the most important features are the twine and the method of support. Wish you luck.
