Given of Hill Street, Orono, are announcing the en- gagement of their daughter, Mar- jorie Elizabeth, to Gerard Fernald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis G. Fernald of Islesford. Miss Given was graduated from Orono High School in 1957 and is employed by the New England Telephone and Telegraph Com- pany in the traffic department. Mr. Fernald was graduated from Higgins Classical Institute in 1955, and is presently a senior at the Maine Maritime Academy, Castine. No date has been set for the wedding.
