MRS. SADIE M. FERNALD ISLESFORD Mrs. Sadie M. Fernald, 92, died Sept. 27 at a Mount Desert Island nursing home. She was the widow of Everett F. Fernald. She was born at Naskeag Point, May 23, 1880, the daugh- ter of Charles and Phoebe (Austin) Black. She was a member of the Islesford Congregational Church, the Islesford church club and a charter member of Rock Bound Grange, Surviving are two sons, Mal- colm E. and Winfred F. and one daughter, Mrs. Hildegarde Ham, all of Islesford; two sis- ters, Mrs. Jennie Merrick of Haverhill, Mass. and Mrs. Carrie Freeman of Hde Park, Mass. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Islesford. Friends may cal at the Fer- nald Funeral Chapel in Mount Desert on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m.
