oh WINFRED F. FERNALD ISLESFORD - Winfred F. Fer- nald, 69, died Nov. 9. at a Bangor hospital. He was born at Islesford May 5, 1908, the son of Everett and Sadie (Black) Fer- nald. He was a member of Tre- mont Lodge, Rockbound Grange and Islesford Congregational Church. He is survived by his wife, Reta (Reed) Fernald; one son, Dennis; and one grand- daughter, Lisa, of Harrison, Tenn.; one brother, Malcolm, and one sister, Hildegarde Ham, both of Islesford; one niece and one nephew, and several grandnieces and grand- nephews. Graveside committal services will be held at Stanley Cemetery, islesford, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17. If friends desire, they may make contributions to the American Cancer Society in Winfred's memory.
